These Customer Terms govern how business customers use the PaidInsight service. PaidInsight is a business-to-business service: you may use it only on behalf of a company, organization, or professional practice, not as a consumer.

PaidInsight provides AI-led research interview tooling for business customers. We are located in the Netherlands. This document is operator-authored plain language. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed or approved by counsel.

The agreement and who may use the service

By creating a workspace, buying credits, or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of the organization you represent, and you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.
You must be 18 or older and use the service for business purposes only.
You are responsible for everyone who uses your workspace, including teammates you add and any sign-in method your organization connects.
Keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly at admin@paidinsight.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

What the service does

PaidInsight lets you set up a short research study, invite participants you choose, have an AI interviewer named Penny call each participant who accepts and verifies their phone number, and receive transcripts, summaries, and a written report built from those interviews. Interviews are qualitative research. The service does not give legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and study results are not statistically representative.

Your participants and your responsibilities

You choose whom to invite. Invite only people you may lawfully contact for research who are 18 or older, and give them any notice your own law requires before you invite them.
Interview calls are currently placed only to phone numbers classified as United States numbers. Before any text message or call is sent, each participant must agree to the Participant Terms and confirm they have read the Participant Privacy Notice on their invitation page.
Do not use the service to collect sensitive information such as health details, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or precise location, to interview children, or for anything other than product and market research.
Do not enter content you have no right to share, and do not use the service to harass, deceive, or discriminate.
You are responsible for how you use the transcripts, summaries, and reports you receive, including decisions you base on them and any further sharing of what participants said.

Credits, prices, and payment

The service is prepaid. You buy interview credits and participant reward funding in US dollars through our hosted checkout. Prices are shown before you pay. The platform price per credit is shown on your billing page and may change for future purchases; the price of a purchase you already made does not change.
Sending an invitation reserves one credit and the reward funding for that interview. If the interview does not take place, for example because the participant declines, the invitation expires, or the call fails to start, the reserved credit and reward funding return to your balance. A completed interview consumes them.
A Try It test call uses half a credit and is separate from participant interviews.
Credits granted by our support team without payment are never refundable.
Refunds of money you paid are handled case by case and are not guaranteed, except where the law requires a refund. Contact admin@paidinsight.com. If you dispute a card payment for credits you have already used, we may suspend your workspace until the dispute is resolved.
Prices do not include taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases under the laws that apply to your organization.

Participant rewards

PaidInsight pays each participant who completes an interview a fixed reward, currently five US dollars, from the reward funding you bought. You do not pay participants directly and may not promise them additional payment through the service. Whether and when a participant is paid is handled between PaidInsight and the participant under the Participant Terms.

Your content and the study results

You keep ownership of the study information you provide, such as your questions, brand details, and participant lists. You allow us to use it to run your studies and provide the service.
Participants keep any rights in what they say and allow their answers to be used for the study purpose shown on their invitation. We give you permission to use the transcripts, summaries, and reports for your internal business purposes and for that study purpose. Do not publish a participant's recording or identify a participant publicly without their separate permission.
We own the service, the interviewer, the report templates, and improvements to them. We may use feedback you give us without obligation.
The interviewer and the analysis are run by software. Transcripts and reports can contain errors, mishearings, or gaps. Review them before you rely on them.

Acceptable use

Do not resell the service without our written permission, use it to send unsolicited messages or calls, try to access another customer's workspace, probe or overload the service, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, use it in violation of the laws that apply to you, including telemarketing, privacy, and consumer-protection laws, or use its outputs to build a competing interview service. We may suspend or end access when we reasonably believe these terms were broken.

Data protection

Each of us is responsible for complying with the data protection laws that apply to it. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to give us participants' names and contact details. We describe our handling in the Privacy Policy and the Participant Privacy Notice.
This version does not include a data processing agreement or a list of the providers we use. If your organization needs either, contact us before you start a study.

Availability and support

We provide the service as it is, with reasonable care, but without a promised uptime or response time. We may change, pause, or improve features. Support is by email at admin@paidinsight.com. There is no contractual service-level agreement unless we sign one with you separately.

Suspension and ending the agreement

You may stop using the service at any time. Contact us to close your workspace.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, do not pay, or create a legal or security risk for us, other customers, or participants. Where reasonable, we warn you first.
If we end the agreement for a reason other than your breach, we refund the money you paid for credits you have not used. Support-granted credits are never refunded.
After the agreement ends, we handle remaining workspace data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business, or losses caused by decisions you base on study results.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising from the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for death, personal injury, fraud, or intentional misconduct.
You will compensate us for third-party claims caused by your breach of the participant and acceptable-use rules above, for example inviting people you were not permitted to contact.

Governing law and disputes

PaidInsight is located in the Netherlands, so Dutch law governs these terms, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. Mandatory law of the country where your organization is established still applies where it cannot be excluded by contract. If you have a problem, contact us first at admin@paidinsight.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

Changes

If these terms change materially, a new version with a new effective date is published here and we notify workspace owners by email or on the billing page. Purchases you make after the effective date are governed by the new version. If you do not agree, stop buying credits and contact us.

General

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies, and the unenforceable part is read as narrowly as needed.
These terms, together with the documents they link to, are the whole agreement between us for the service, unless we sign a separate written agreement with you.
You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer it to a successor of the PaidInsight business, and we will notify you if we do.
