These Participant Terms set the rules for taking part in a PaidInsight research interview after a research customer invites you. They are written for participants in the United States, because that is where PaidInsight interviews currently take place.

PaidInsight provides AI-led research interview tooling for business customers. We are located in the Netherlands and serve participants in the United States. This document is operator-authored plain language. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed or approved by counsel.

What you agree to when you participate

By checking the agreement control on your invitation and continuing, you:

1. Agree to these Participant Terms for this invitation. Checking the control is your agreement and has the same effect as your signature.
2. Ask PaidInsight to send one verification text message to the phone number you provide, and to place one AI interview call to that number for this study.
3. Consent to the interview call being recorded, transcribed, and analyzed for the research customer's study.
4. Confirm that you have read the Participant Privacy Notice.
5. Agree to receive these terms, the privacy notice, and notices about your interview or reward electronically, by email or on the invitation pages.

Eligibility

• You must be 18 or older.
• You must use a phone number classified as a United States number. Numbers from US territories such as Puerto Rico are not currently accepted.
• You must be the person the invitation was sent to. Do not pass the invitation to someone else.
• You may decline the invitation at any time before the interview starts.

Text messages and the AI call

• We text you only when you ask for a verification code on the invitation page. We do not send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. If you do not want a text, do not request a code.
• The interview call is placed only when you request it on the invitation page, right after your number is verified. Agreeing to these terms is not a condition of buying anything.
• The interviewer, Penny, is an AI assistant, not a person. The call uses a computer-generated voice and the conversation is run by software.
• The call is recorded and transcribed. You give that consent here, before the call begins. Take the call somewhere private so that nobody else is recorded without knowing it.
• You may end the call at any time by hanging up. Ending early does not create a false completed interview.

The interview

• The interviewer acts for the named research customer.
• The call is for qualitative research about the study purpose shown on your invitation.
• Give answers that are your own and truthful, and do not share confidential information that belongs to someone else.

Your answers and the study results

You keep any rights you have in what you say. You allow PaidInsight and the research customer to record, transcribe, analyze, quote, and summarize your answers for the study purpose shown on your invitation. The research customer is responsible for how it uses the study results it receives, and you should expect that its team may read what you said.

Rewards

A reward is offered only when the invitation shows one, and it is conditional. Rewards are stated and paid in US dollars. After a completed interview, claim instructions arrive by email, and the claim stays open for 30 days. Payment runs through PayPal and is subject to eligibility, provider, and anti-fraud checks. We do not promise a fixed payout time, and completing an interview does not by itself guarantee a payout. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to a reward you receive. If you believe a reward was wrongly withheld, contact us and a person will review it.

Prohibited use

Do not use the interview to harass anyone, submit another person's private data without authority, impersonate someone, claim a reward you are not entitled to, or attempt to disrupt PaidInsight systems. We may end an interview, decline a reward claim, or refuse future invitations when we reasonably believe these terms were broken.

Liability

We provide the interview service with reasonable care, but we do not promise that a call, recording, or reward flow will be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that were not caused by our breach of these terms or by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for death, personal injury, fraud, or intentional misconduct.

Governing law and disputes

PaidInsight is located in the Netherlands, so Dutch law governs these terms. If you live in the United States, you also keep every protection that the consumer laws of your state give you and that cannot be waived by contract. If you have a problem, contact us first at admin@paidinsight.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Disputes that cannot be resolved that way go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law that applies to you lets you bring them before your own local court.

Severability

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies, and the unenforceable part is read as narrowly as needed to make it enforceable.

Changes

If these terms change materially for a future invitation, you will be asked to agree again. Historical acceptances stay tied to the version you accepted.
